Appointments - please go to Coronavirus latest guidlines

Medical emergency consultations are available. You will be seen as soon as possible on that day.

Please help the receptionists by telling them whether or not your problem is urgent.

The surgery is open continuously from 8am-6pm.

Routine appointments

Routine appointments are available throughout each working day. Routine consultations are booked by appointment via the receptionist or on line if your are registered with patient services. Routine appointments can be made up to 5 weeks in advance

Appointments are normally at 10-minute intervals, and where possible, should be arranged in advance with the doctor of your choice.

If this is not possible you may be offered an appointment with any available doctor.

Please inform reception as soon as possible if you cannot keep your appointment so that we can offer it to someone else.

Same Day Appointment

We also offer on the day appointments for patients who feel they cannot wait for the next routine appointment. A particular doctor cannot be guaranteed in this circumstance though the doctors aim to see patients known to them to provide continuity of care.

Failed Appointments Policy

Missed or failed appointments are a waste of a valuable resource. Our policy is the following:

If a patient fails to attend two routine appointments in one twelve month period, a warning letter will be issued.

If a further two routine appintments are missed within the same twelve month period, the patient will be removed from the patient list.
